I have to say, pretty much my whole career in film (24 years!) has been dedicated to expanding the canon--and I'm sure as hell not done yet. Some of these films I have released, others I just admire.
I did want to note that I am shocked and appalled that there are no Norman McLaren or Chuck Jones films on this list! And three Jacques Tati films but not one by Mel Brooks, John Waters or Frank Tashlin?
